- BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) - The governing body for university sport in Britain.
- WKF (World Karate Federation) - The organization behind world-wide sport karate and the bid to make karate part of the Olympic Games.
University Clubs
CUKC has very close ties with Keio University in Japan and has exchanged tours with Keio many times in the past, most recently in 2011.

- Edinburgh Shukokai - Very classy club, often big winners at BUSA.
- LSE (London School of Economics) - One of our big rivals at the KUGB Student Nationals.
Other Clubs & Associations
- Leeds Karate Academy - A top notch group of clubs in the Leeds/Harrogate area that boast the likes of Matt Price and Nick Heald as their instructors.
- Kaizen SKC - Our biggest kumite rival at the KUGB Central Regions Championships, and home to some excellent fighters.
- Dartford SKC - Paul Herbert's club.
- JKAE (Japan Karate Association England) - The England branch of the JKA, headed by Sensei Yoshinobu Ohta.
- Shotokan Karate England - Rod Butler's London-based association.
